CBD is an amazing part of the cannabis plant that has been shown to have some fantastic benefits to humans and our furbabies.

For those who know me, you’ll know that many of the animals that have been taken in by us have had problems and many times, I have have put them on cannabis oil to help them recover and it has always made a difference to them, even when I didn’t think it would (do you remember the cat that couldn’t walk?). I’m very lucky to have some knowledgeable people around me who have been guiding me and help me learn and I am now able to help spread the word to others and support them on their journey.

What is CBD Oil?

CBD, short for cannabidiol, is just one of over 100 unique compounds called cannabinoids that are found within the cannabis plant. CBD is found throughout the seeds, stalk, and flowers of various types of cannabis plants, including hemp and marijuana.

Cannabidiol occurs naturally in significant quantities in cannabis, so it is relatively easily extracted from the plant. Unlike Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), CBD is non-psychoactive and doesn’t elicit a “high” feeling when consumed, making it safe to use by members of your entire family
